Dubai Cars & Automotive Zone (DUCAMZ) was established with the objective of re-exporting cars to the Asian and African region where demand exists and continues to grow. This zone is situated within Dubai City and comprises of one million square metres of bonded area. The location has easy access to all airports and seaports in the region and from here, automobiles are reloaded onto feeder vessels, or on to trucks which travel throughout the region on a modern network of highways, linking all the neighbouring countries in the Middle East and beyond.

JAFZA is charged with the supervision of DUCAMZ. Its responsibilities include providing companies with all assistance required including: licensing, administration services, customs and clearing etc, if they wish to operate within the Free Zone. Procedural matters have been kept simple.
The infrastructure is tailor-made for entrepreneurs, not only with a modern road network but also excellent air connections at Dubai International Airport.
DUCAMZ offers unique benefits for businessmen in the car industry who set up an establishment and this is applicable to individuals or non-individuals (Joint Ventures, Partnerships, etc.) from any country.
By applying and completing some simple but essential documentation, separate legal entities called the Free Zone Company (FZCO) with limited liability can be formed with headquarters in the Zone. The Free Zone Company (FZCO) can be formed with Multi-shareholding partners and there is no obligation to take on local partners. Its affairs are completely separate from those of its partners with a paid minimum AED 100,000 (US$27,000) as share capital. Minimum shareholders are two, with a maximum of five.
